I visited Western Norway in the summer.
I visited my family at Sotra in mid-June and experienced Norway at its best, with fantastic summer weather.
On June 9th, 2012, the 36th annual Market Day was held at the Fish Market in Bergen. This is a celebration of the coastal heritage around the largest city in western Norway.
I went on a one week cruise in the Southern Caribbean from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The cruise ship Celebrity Summit visited Grenada, Barbados, Dominica and Saint Barthélemy.
I stayed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before and after the cruise.
Grenada is also known as the Island of Spice.
Barbados is the easternmost isle of the Lesser Antilles.
Dominica has been nicknamed the Nature Isle of the Caribbean for its unspoiled natural beauty.
Saint Barthélemy is a volcanic island fully encircled by shallow reefs. This French outpost is a popular tourist destination for the rich and famous.
